When will the buses depart for Toronto?
All buses (regardless of location) will depart for Toronto at 12am EST on August the 1st. All buses are set to arrive between 8am and 10am.
Will I need a passport?
Yes, a Passport or Passport Card is required for travel into Toronto and return into the United States.
Can I use US dollars in Canada?
Yes, some establishments will accept USD but will only provide change in Canadian currency. There may also be an exchange fee applied when using your debit or credit card.
Can I use my cell phone there?
Yes. Be sure to contact your mobile phone provider and confirm international calls/roaming/texting on your phone prior to your trip.
Is Toronto safe?
Toronto is commonly listed as one of the safest places in the world. Downtown Toronto is clean, safe, and friendly. Your safety is our NUMBER ONE PRIORITY.
Are meals included?
No. Some events do provide snacks and meals. Your itinerary will indicate if meals are included. Most venues will include food and drinks for sale. Generally speaking, you are responsible for your other meal arrangements.
When is the deadline to book a package?
Registration deadline is April 15th. Generally speaking, if there is room still available Renaissance will allow registration. In these cases, lodging is more expensive and events are limited. Be the early bird.
Will I have access to the internet?
Yes. Complimentary WiFi is available at all hotels.
Will there be time to rest?
It is recommended you try to sleep in between the activity schedule. You are also at liberty to forego any events on your itinerary with the understanding that refunds are not permitted.
How will I get to the events?
Ground transportation is provided by luxury buses to and from all events outside of 10 minutes walking distance.
What about VISAS?
Visa’s are NOT necessary for US residents, but may be required for travel into Canada by other countries.
